Dan Patrone joins the Hungarian National team staff from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he serves as assistant coach. Over the last three years, Patrone coached 4 All-Conference Academic, 12 All-Conference Defenders, 2 All-Conference Offenders, 3 NAIA All-Americans, 1 All-Conference Defender of the Year, and 1 All-Conference Newcomer of the Year.
At Aquinas, Patrone coaches the defense, offense, transition game, man up, and man down units. This past season, he helped the Saints offense improve their scoring by over 6 goals per game, while also decreasing the teams goals against average. This past season, Aquinas had it's most successful season in team history, finishing 10-5 and ranked #8 in the NAIA.
This summer, Patrone is coaching at Michigan Lacrosse Acadmies as their under-17 head coach. Prior to Aquinas, Patrone coached at Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, Wilmington College in Ohio, and Taylor University in Indiana.
